A:- A non citizen of St Kitts and Nevis is termed an "Alien" for the purpose of owning land.  All aliens must apply for and be granted an alien land holdings license prior to purchasing property.

Q:- How long does an Alien Land Holdings License take before it is granted and how much would I have to pay for an Alien Land Holding's License? 

A:- It is recommended that at least three (3) months is required before a license can be granted .  The Alien Land Holdings License is ten percent (10%) of the purchase price.

A:- The official currency is the Eastern Caribbean Currency commonly referred to as the EC Dollar.  However the United States Dollar is commonly used and is also used in documents for sale of land.
